 Ubisoft will unveil Watch Dog Legion’s online multiplayer mode on March 9 after nearly four months since its launch. The online multiplayer mode exists completely separate from the single-player campaign. As such, you can’t bring over the legion of operatives you’ve amassed in the campaign. We got to spend a few hours with the game, and here’s everything you need to know about it.

It’s been nearly four months since the launch of watchdogs legion and Ubisoft is finally ready to unveil the game’s online multiplayer mode. it’s not out yet though it’s coming March 9th. I got to spend a few hours with watchdog’s legion online back in January. so while I’m not quite ready to deliver a verdict I can tell you what to expect when you spin it up.

 

watchdog’s legion online exists completely separate from the single player campaign. as such you can’t bring over the legion of operatives you amassed in the campaign.

 

watchdogs legion online lets you roam the streets of London alongside other players from across the globe, and you can team up with three friends to take on co-op missions or activities or just drive around the English capital.

 

• Before you get started you’ll need to go through an onboarding mission. once that’s done you can start inviting friends to your game or join your friends games. watch dogs legion online’s flagship offering is tactical ops.

These are a series of missions that require you to coordinate with your teammates to pull them off. This might include hacking into a laptop to find an individual then disabling access to a network.

 

Then riding to a new location where you might have to steal some vehicles or it might involve launching a coordinated hack at two heavily guarded locations.

You can go about some parts of the heist quietly but you’ll eventually face the full wrath of Albion. if you don’t feel like an engaging in big time-consuming battles watchdog legion online also offers a bunch of neighborhood activities. you can even do these by yourself.

 

watchdogs legion online is also launching with a player versus player mode it’s called spiderbot arena in it, you have to use your spiderboard to destroy other spider balls simple.You can pick up health boost to last longer and weapon packs to get access to missiles shotgun pellets, and a lot more. spiderboard arena lounge lasts for 6 minutes, and can involve up to 4 players at a time.

More PVP and coop modes are coming later. Ubisoft has said including the returning invasion mode from watchdogs 2 that lets you hack into someone else’s game that wasn’t available for my testing though.
