Mumbai, the financial and business capital of India, is also among the top BTech destinations in the country. It is a hub of education in Management, Technology and allied sectors. These colleges offer full-time four-year BTech courses in Mumbai that can be a gateway to a career in Engineering. This course is offered in various specialisations and of these Computer Science Engineering is the most sought-after for student’s growth.

Mumbai is home to prestigious institutes to pursue a BTech course like Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay), Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), K. BTech Admission Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for BTech course may differ from college to college. However, the basic eligibility criteria for BTech is as follows. The candidates:

  • Must have passed Class 12 with minimum 60% aggregate from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects (the pass percentage may vary in different colleges)
  • Admission is based on merit, written exam, Group Discussion or Personal Interview (GDPI) and it varies from college to college

Apart from merit-based admission, many top-ranked BTech colleges in Mumbai also accept scores of national- and state-level entrance exams, including JEE MainMHT CETJEE AdvancedSAT IndiaSomaiya Entrance Test Engineering (SET-E), etc., for BTech admissions.
